Midlothian High School to host memorial golf tournament in memory of Wyatt Fowler

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Following the death of Wyatt Fowler, a 15-year-old football player killed in a crash in 2023, Midlothian High School will host a memorial golf tournament raising funds to build a new weight room in his honor.
According to organizers, the Wyatt Fowler Memorial Golf Tournament will be hosted on Monday, June 30 at Brandermill Country Club.
Fowler died in a crash just after midnight on Dec. 30, 2023, causing an outpouring of support within the community.
Check-in will be at 10 a.m., with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. Groups of 4 cost $600, and all proceeds benefit the Midlothian High School Weight Room Project.
The registration deadline is June 16.
Businesses who wish to sponsor the event can do so at the following levels, according to organizers:
- Hole sponsorship, $150: Company sign at one hole
- Silver sponsorship, $1,000:
- Company logo on all promotional material
- Social media recognition
- Includes one hole sign
- Recognition during lunch reception
- Gold sponsorship, $2,000:
- One group of four in the tournament
- Company logo on all promotional material

- Platinum sponsorship, $2,500:
