Need help with Thanksgiving dinner? Chesterfield Health District to host ‘Turkey Talk’ webinar
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- If you're not sure when the turkey should start thawing or how long leftovers are safe to eat, Chesterfield County invites you to join their virtual meeting to help residents as the Thanksgiving holiday approaches.
The virtual event will be held Monday, Nov. 24, from 3 to 4 p.m. and will feature appearances from six experts including:
- Meredith Carothers, MPH, of the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service
- Mengyi Dong, PhD, of Virginia Tech
- Betty Feng, PhD from Purdue University
- Julie Garden-Robinson, PhD, from North Dakota State University
- Shauna Henley, PhD, of the University of Maryland
- Lisa Peterson, MS, from the University of Illinois Extension
