Overnight closure planned for Southbound I-95 ramp to Downtown Expressway

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Southbound Interstate 95 ramp to Westbound Downtown Expressway will be closed overnight Thursday for bridge maintenance.
The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority is closing the Southbound I-95 Exit 74A ramp to Westbound Downtown Expressway beginning at 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 22 through 5 a.m. on Friday, May 23 for repairs to the bridge.
The transportation officials said the detour for the Westbound Downtown Expressway is to continue southbound I-95 to Maury Street.
Drivers are reminded to be aware of the traffic control signs in the area, and to travel with caution through the road work areas.
