Pedestrian hit in Richmond, facing life-threatening injuries

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A pedestrian that was hit by a car Sunday night on Hull Street Road is facing life-threatening injuries. According to Richmond Police, officers got a call at around 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17 about someone that had been hit by a car in the 5300 block of Hull Street Road. Once on scene, officers found a man that had been hit by a car while attempting to cross the street without using a designated crosswalk. The crash team was called at 6:20 p.m. and the man was transported to a local hospital. As of the time of writing this article, the man is alive but has injuries that are considered life-threatening. The driver of the car remained on scene.
