Person fighting for life after crash involving ejection in Brunswick
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A person is fighting for their life after a crash involving an ejection in Brunswick County early Thursday morning.
At about 1:45 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12, members of the Dolphin Volunteer Fire Department were called to the 1000 block of Sturgeon Road for an overturned vehicle crash with ejection.
When crews arrived, they found one person in the roadway with injuries considered life-threatening.

The person was taken to Lawrenceville Airport by Brunswick EMS. According to fire officials, LifeEvac 5, now stationed at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Community Memorial in South Hill, transferred them to a trauma center in Richmond.
Officials said there was no one else in the vehicle.
Virginia State Police continue to investigate the crash. 8News has reached out for more information.
