Petersburg National Battlefield to host Great Backyard Bird Count event
PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Attention, all bird watchers! Petersburg National Battlefield is hosting its annual Great Backyard Bird Count in February.
According to the National Park Service, the event allows attendees to practice their birding skills. Beginners are encouraged to attend, as prior experience is not needed.
