PHOTOS: Richmond Flying Squirrels’ annual Nutzy’s Block Party

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Flying Squirrels hosted their annual Nutzy's Block Party this weekend, offering activities for fans, families and community members of all ages to enjoy.
The block party took place at The Diamond on Saturday, March 1 starting at 10 a.m. -- with food, vendors, mascot autographs, fire truck rides and more.
8News spoke with Megan Angstadt, Executive Director of Fan Engagement at Richmond Flying Squirrels, about what an event like this means to the community.
"Everyone is happy to see each other again," Angstadt said. "this is what it's all about -- where we get to see the fans and the community coming together at The Diamond."
