Richmond Animal Care and Control sponsoring adoptions for Father’s Day

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Looking to show support for animal adoption? The Richmond Animal Care and Control (RACC) is sponsoring adoptions for Father's Day weekend.
In a social post on Thursday, RACC announced the "Pawthers Adoption Special," which will be held Father's Day Weekend.
Patient First sponsored dog and cat adoptions at the shelter previously, at the end of May, to help make space at the shelter, which is “critically full.”
Starting Friday, the special will be held at the animal shelter, located at 1600 Chamberlayne Avenue, for the following three days at varying times:
- From noon to 6 p.m. on Friday, June 13
- From noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 14
- From noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 15
