Outdoor fire spreads to shed in Louisa, smoke seen by firefighters prompts response

LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- After an outdoor fire spread to a shed in Louisa County on Tuesday, and smoke from the blaze was seen by firefighters, crews responded and were able to get the fire under control.

On Tuesday, March 24, crews from the Louisa County Department of Fire and EMS, along with crews from Trevilians and Mineral volunteer fire departments, responded to an outdoor fire on Bannister Town Road that spread to a shed, according to a social media post by officials.

Smoke that rose from the fire was reportedly seen by Louisa firefighters while out on another run, who then investigated and found that the fire was getting out of control.
