Richmond business owners have until end of March to register, file before late fees
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Richmond business owners have until the end of March to register with the RVA Business Portal and file Business Personal Property and Business Professional and Occupational License Taxes, according to the city.
Business owners who register and file before Mar. 31 will avoid late fees and interest, according to the city.
The city's Department of Finance introduced the RVA Business Portal in January, which it says is designed to "make managing business taxes and licenses easier than ever."
With the portal, the city said business owners can file and pay business taxes online, generate invoices and track payments and manage business licenses in one place.
Business owners with questions can contact the Department of Finance’s support team to reserve an appointment or submit an RVA 311 service request.
Folks can find a full list of online payment options on the Department of Finance’s website.
