Richmond Public Library to host presentation on researching city history

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A Richmond Public Library special collections librarian will host a presentation on Thursday, where attendees can learn where to look for local historical information.

The presentation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Jan. 15 at the Richmond Room within Richmond Public Library's Main Library.

Special collections librarian Chloe McCormick will give attendees an introduction to the local history collections and resources offered by Richmond Public Library.

According to organizers, highlighted collections will include microfilm, photographs, ephemera files, maps and more.

After the presentation, Richmond Public Library said Chloe will be able to help attendees with local history research projects.
