The City of Richmond wants to remind community members to treat the monks with respect as they travel through. This includes doing the following:

  • Make sure to give space to the monks. Do not walk next to them and allow them room so they can fulfill their mission.
  • Great them respectfully by placing your palms together in a prayer and bowing gently.
  • Ensure that you are supporting appropriately. Do not offer any gifts you have for the monks directly to them.

You can track their journey through multiple maps on their website here.
