Richmond’s Boulevard Bridge to close for centennial celebration

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Boulevard Bridge will be closed for a few hours on Saturday for its centennial celebration, according to the Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority (RMTA).
The Boulevard Bridge that carries Westover Hills Boulevard, or VA 161, across the James River, will close to all traffic from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 8, for the Boulevard Bridge Centennial Celebration, according to the RMTA.
Drivers are asked to pay attention to signage in the area and to be cautious when traveling in the area.
