Road work on I-95 South in Henrico to cause ‘significant delays’

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Drivers will see lane closures on Interstate 95 South in Henrico County on Saturday and Sunday due to road work.

From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16, the southbound right and center lanes of I-95 at mile marker 82 -- near Parham Road -- will be closed for shoulder rehabilitation.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) recommends that drivers use I-295 while these closures are in place to avoid "significant delays."
