Science Museum of Virginia celebrates International Day of Play

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Science Museum of Virginia is celebrating International Day of Play on Wednesday, with reduced admission and the chance to find some special prizes.

Wednesday, June 11, marks International Day of Play, a global initiative that encourages people, particularly children, to get out, socialize and enjoy the day.

To aid in this goal, the Science Museum of Virginia is offering admission for $10 and there will be free programming in The Green from 10 a.m. until noon.

Additionally, people can be on the lookout for several giant LEGO bricks that are hidden outside -- whoever finds one has the opportunity to win a special prize.
