Section of Turner Road to close in Chesterfield for pipe replacement

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A section of Turner Road in Chesterfield will close on June 17 for a pipe replacement project and ditch work.
The section of Turner Road (Route 650) between Belfair Drive (Route 2289) and Belmont Road (Route 651) will close on Tuesday, June 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
Those who live along that section will still have access to their property. Drivers are encouraged to follow the posted detour:
- Northbound traffic -- travel east on Belmont Road (Route 651), north on Belrun Road (Route 2290), and west on Belfair Drive (Route 2289) back to Turner Road.
- Southbound traffic -- travel east on Belfair Drive (Route 2289), south on Belrun Road (Route 2290), West on Belmont Road (Route 651), back to Turner Road.
