StormTracker8: A few rain & snow showers possible Saturday

Richmond, Va. (WRIC) -- Cloudy skies will be with us for tonight with lows in the upper 20s.

Cloudy skies will be across the region on Saturday as a weak weather system slides through North Carolina. The precipitation will reach into Virginia and possibly as far north as I-64. We could see a mixture of rain and snow showers during the day. It will be a chilly day with highs in the upper 30s.

The sunshine will return for Sunday, but it will remain cool with highs in the middle 40s.

Monday will also be a sunny day with highs in the middle to upper 40s.

Mostly sunny skies and slightly milder temperatures will be with us for Tuesday with highs in the middle 50s.

Wednesday and Thursday will feature partly sunny skies with highs around 60.

There's a little uncertainty in the extended forecast as we look ahead toward next Friday and Saturday as some weather models push a weather system near us bring us clouds and some scattered showers while others hold off that system either way it will remain mild with highs in the upper 50s to around 60.
