StormTracker8: Above normal temperatures and daily rain chances
Richmond, Va. (WRIC) -- Today will stay warmer than yesterday, but it will be cloudy all day. Temperatures will climb into the mid 60s. A stray shower is possible, mainly in the afternoon and evening hours.
Tonight we will only drop into the upper 40s. Tomorrow, the rain begins. We have multiple days of rain ahead, but it will not be constant.
Thursday, scattered showers are possible beginning before sunrise and lasting until the overnight hours. Friday, we have rain chances for the first half of the day. Then, we will catch a break for Friday evening. If you have Friday night plans, conditions are expected to remain rain free. Saturday is the day with the lowest rain chances. We will see isolated or spotty showers, mainly in the afternoon. Don't cancel Saturday plans!
Sunday will be another day with all day rain chances. It is the most likely day for a washout. Overnight Sunday into early Monday morning we could see a few snow flurries fall as temperatures drop to right above freezing.
Total rain chances over the 4 day period could reach 1-1.5 inches.
Next week will be a bit cooler, with highs near 50° and lows in the 20s.
