StormTracker8: Great Friday and Saturday; Rain chances Late Sunday

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – We are starting off relatively chilly this morning, with many in the upper 30s. Frost is possible in some areas. When the sun comes up, temperatures will climb to the mid 60s. Sunny skies are expected all day.

Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 40s, not as chilly as today. Saturday highs will be near 70°, and there will be a few more clouds in the sky. Sunday will be mostly cloudy as a cold front approaches, and highs will be in the mid 70s. Rain chances are possible overnight, mainly between 4pm Sunday and 4am Monday.

Skies will clear as the sun rises on Monday morning, and highs on Monday will be slightly cooler, in the upper 60s.

Another weak front could pass through the region on Tuesday night for another slight drop in temperatures. Rain chances are looking slim to none with that system.

Overall we are looking at a pretty great forecast over the coming days, with plenty of fall-like days and wonderful conditions for outdoor plans.

TRACKING THE TROPICS:

We have two new areas of interest in the tropics. The only one that is of concern to the U.S. is the one expected to develop over the Caribbean.
