StormTracker8: Icy spots tonight; showers Wednesday

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – Clear skies will be with us this evening, but some clouds Will Roll in by early Wednesday morning. Our overnight lows will dip into the middle 20s, which will allow anything that is wet, slushy or snowy to freeze once again so look for icy spots for that ride into work or school on Wednesday morning.

Wednesday will feature cloudy skies as a weak weather system moves through the region, we could find a couple of passing showers throughout the day. It will be a seasonably cool day with highs near 45.

Thursday will feature partly sunny skies, and it will still be a touch chilly with highs in the lower 40s.

Another weak weather system will slide through the region on Friday, and this could bring us a quick passing rain or snow shower with highs around 40.

Saturday will be partly sunny, and it will be seasonally cool with highs in the upper 40s.

Another weather system will slide north of the region on Sunday, bringing clouds to Central Virginia and keep us cool with highs only in the lower 40s.

Looking ahead to early next week another shot of Arctic air will slide into Central Virginia as our high temperatures on Monday and Tuesday will be in the middle to upper 30s under sunny to partly sunny skies.
