StormTracker8: Warm Thursday; Showers Friday

Richmond, Va. (WRIC) -- We will have partly cloudy skies for the evening and tonight and it will be a mild night with lows in the upper 40s to near 50.

Partly sunny skies will be across Central Virginia for Thursday, and it will be very mild with highs in the upper 70s.

Friday will start off with a little bit of sunshine, but clouds will quickly increase throughout the day and we will see some showers developing Friday afternoon and those will continue into Friday night. It will be very mild once again with highs in the middle 70s.

Mostly sunny skies will return for Saturday, but it will be Breezy and cooler with highs only near 55.

Sunday will feature mostly sunny skies, and it will be seasonable with highs in the lower 60s.

Looking ahead to next Monday we should see partly sunny skies, but a weak weather system will be across Northern Virginia and that might bring a couple of showers to areas well north of Fredericksburg. It will be mild again with highs in the lower 70s.

Looking ahead to the middle to end of next week we are looking at partly sunny skies for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the middle 70s on Tuesday and around 80 or even better for Wednesday and Thursday.
