StormTracker8: Wonderful Weekend Ahead

Richmond, Va. (WRIC) -- Skies will be cloudy for much of today but we will see clearing towards the afternoon and highs will be in the low 50s.

This weekend is looking amazing. A passing shower can't be ruled out, but chances are extremely minimal. Saturday will be a bit sunnier than Sunday. Both days, highs will be around 60°. Be sure to enjoy this, because….

The possibility of rain/snow mix is still present for Monday. As of right now, accumulations are not a concern because of how warm we are leading up to this event - remember last Sunday, when the snow didn't stick for most of Central VA? We are also expecting some rain showers on Tuesday, Wednesday, and potentially even Thursday, which would also do a number on anything that does stick. Roads are not expected to be an issue for Monday, but it will be a very cold and dreary day. We will keep you updated through the weekend.

At the end of next week, temperatures could climb well above normal. So we do have something to look forward to!
