Suspect allegedly flees from scene of crash that injured three in Powhatan County
POWHATAN COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- After a man allegedly crashed into a vehicle, injuring three people during a police chase in November in Powhatan County and fled the scene on foot, officials continue to search for him.
The suspect was identified by Virginia State Police as Robin Lynwood Wood, Jr. of Chesterfield County, also known as "Robbie."
Police said Wood is wanted in connection to a serious crash that occurred on Nov. 17, 2023 in Powhatan County when Wood was allegedly speeding as he attempted to elude a Powhatan County Sheriff's deputy.
Three passengers had significant injuries due to the crash and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

According to officials, after the crash, Wood fled the scene on foot. Police said he faces multiple felony charges.
"Wood may have fled Virginia and could be in another state. He has known ties to Chesterfield, Hanover, and Richmond," police said.
