Suspects charged in vandalism and thefts worth over $12,000

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Two suspects have been identified and charged in connection to a reported burglary and vandalism of vehicles.
According to the Ashland Police Department, they responded to a business in the 100 block of Sylvia Road for a reported burglary and vandalism, in addition to $12,000 in copper wire being stolen.
On Monday, Aug. 18, Ashland Police investigators arrested 26-year-old Myah Parker of Washington D.C. and 27-year-old Dominique Johnson of Washington D.C.
It is not clear what the relationship is between Parker and Johnson, however both are being charged with the following.
- Commercial burglary
- Conspiracy to commit burglary
- Grand larceny
- Possession of burglary tools
- Vandalism
According to investigators, Parker is currently being held at the Pamunkey Regional Jail without bond, while Johnson is currently in custody in Fairfax County.
