Three Richmond 18-year-olds charged in connection to two armed robberies in Virginia Beach

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Three Richmond 18-year-olds have been charged in connection with two different armed robberies that occurred in Virginia Beach in July.

According to the Virginia Beach Police Department, at 10:36 p.m. on July 5, three people reported being robbed at gunpoint near the intersection of 25th Street and Atlantic Avenue.

About an hour later, at 11:28 p.m., police said officers were flagged down in the 2100 block of Pacific Avenue regarding another armed robbery.

Following an investigation by police, the following suspects were reportedly charged with multiple counts of armed robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and conspiracy to commit robbery:

  • 18-year-old Jeremiah Dodson of Richmond
  • 18-year-old Jsean Eberhardt of Richmond
  • 18-year-old Rahgei Hopkins of Richmond

Officials said all suspects were in custody out of state and were awaiting extradition back to Virginia Beach.
