Tractor trailer crash leaves one person hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- A crash involving two tractor trailers in Petersburg has left one person hospitalized Sunday afternoon.
On Sunday, Sept. 28. at 1:27 p.m., a crash was reported on North 95 at mile marker 52 involving two tractor trailers carrying furniture after one rear ended the other, according to Virginia State Police.
When state police arrived at the scene, one of the drivers involved was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
It was initially thought that the crash struck the bridge however state police clarified the bridge had not been struck.
Charges into this incident are pending at this time according to police, and the crash remains under investigation.
