Tutus & Ties event invites dancing, play at Children’s Museum of Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Every Tuesday, the Children's Museum of Richmond holds a freeform dance and play event called Tutus & Ties.
"It's an open event that the children can come and put on tutus -- sometimes they'll put on five or six of them, sometimes they'll be happy with one -- and they come up on the stage and [it's] just a chance for them to express themselves and be creative with dancing and movement," said museum educator, Pamela McCartt.
The event is held every Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the museum's Downtown Playhouse at 2626 West Broad Street.
The event is free with museum admission. For more information, visit the Children's Museum of Richmond website.
