Two homes sustain minor damage after Prince George dumpster fire

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) --No one is hurt after Prince George County Fire and EMS crews responded to a reported of a dumpster fire Saturday, Sept. 20.

According to Prince George Fire and EMS, at 12:54 p.m. units were called to the 1300 block of Lemonwood Drive for a reported dumpster fire.

When crews arrived they upgraded the incident to a "structure fire," due to how close the dumpster fire was to a residence nearby.

Firefighters and crews continued to work to contain the blaze and to prevent further damage.

According to Prince George Fire and EMS, two homes sustained minor damage.
