Two men injured after shooting in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Two men are injured after police said they were shot in Richmond in the early hours on Monday.

At 12:06 a.m. on Monday, March 17, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 1300 block of Jennie Scher Road for the report of a person shot.

When officers arrived, police said they found two men with apparent gunshot wounds.

Both men were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

In early March, a 22-year-old man was arrested in connection to the murder of a 20-year-old woman that occurred in the same block in mid-February.
