Ugly Dumpling restaurant to host grand opening celebration in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Ugly Dumpling, a Shanghai street food-inspired restaurant chain, is hosting a grand opening to celebrate the new Richmond location.

Ugly Dumpling recently opened its doors in February at Willow Lawn, and now welcomes the public to take part in the grand opening and ribbon-cutting celebration. The special event takes place on Wednesday, May 13, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

According to the restaurant, guests can expect live music from Mix 98.1, a lion dancer ceremony, a photobooth, special giveaways and more.

Ugly Dumpling has an exclusive menu with signature dishes that include classic dumplings, a variety of Dim Sum and Wontons, as well as traditional noodle and wok dishes.
