Video of alleged violent incident on Carver Middle School bus did not happen: principal
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- After a video reportedly circulated on social media of an alleged violent incident taking place on a Carver Middle School bus, school officials have determined that the incident did not occur.
On Wednesday, Sept. 10, Carver Middle School Principal Dr. Bryan Hicks shared the following message with families after a video reportedly circulated on social media of a violent incident taking place on a school bus, alleging that it occurred on a Carver Middle School bus:
Let me begin by saying that all is well at our school. I am writing to families to share that we have been made aware of a video that is circulating on social media of violence on a school bus. The posting is from a SPAM account using our school logo and has been reported. We have investigated the incident in the video and determined that the incident did not occur on a Carver MS bus. I appreciate the partnership with our families and community, and thank you for your continued support of our efforts to create a safe learning environment for our students.
