Virginia Museum of Fine Arts to celebrate the lunar new year with annual ChinaFest
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – In celebration of the Lunar New Year, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) will be hosting ChinaFest: Year of the Wood Snake. On Saturday, Feb. 8, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the VMFA will celebrate Chinese art and culture at its annual family day event. There will be many activities, including music, performances and more. According to organizers, this celebration is about wishing luck and prosperity throughout the community. This will mark the 20th anniversary of the ChinaFest program. It is free to attend and is a family-friendly event.
