VSU hosting its annual AgFest Celebration in March

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Virginia State University (VSU) College of Agriculture is hosting its annual National Ag Day Celebration.
On Tuesday, March 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., VSU is inviting you to attend its annual celebration of agriculture. This day is to honor the contributions of agriculture and the role it plays within our communities.
According to VSU, there is something for everyone at this celebration. Events will include:
- VSU Farmer's Market
- Interactive exhibits
- Culinary delights
- Fashion showcase
- Educational insights
- Music and dance
- Close encounters with small farm animals
"We believe in the power of community and the importance of agriculture in our daily lives," VSU said on its website. "Whether you're a student, faculty member, community member or industry professional, you'll find inspiration, education, and camaraderie at this special event."
