RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Virginia will have the opportunity to hear the attorney general candidates -- Democrat Jay Jones and incumbent Republican Jason Miyares -- speak in a debate format at the University of Richmond tonight.
The debate is scheduled for 6 p.m. and is being hosted by the University of Richmond and the Virginia State Bar.
Topics are expected to include many criminal and legal issues facing Virginia -- as well as the recent controversy involving leaked text messages sent by Jones in 2022.
The livestream will be replaced with a full video shortly after the debate has concluded.
