Water main break clears after road closure in Richmond’s Carver area
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Part of West Leigh Street in Richmond's Carver area was closed Tuesday morning due to a water main break. Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) released an alert in the morning on Tuesday, Oct. 15 that said the 1300 block of West Leigh Street was closed due to the water main break that later cleared. Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians were asked to avoid the area until further notice, and police were on scene. RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Part of West Leigh Street in Richmond's Carver area was closed Tuesday morning due to a water main break.
