What’s that light moving across Virginia’s skies?
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- If you saw a bright light making its way across Virginia's skyline earlier today, you're not alone. But what, exactly, did you see?
Just after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4, SpaceX's Falcon 9 launched its Maxar 3 mission from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
That rocket entering orbit lit up skies far and wide -- including in Virginia.
8News viewers sent in photos and videos of what they saw when they looked skyward post-launch.
