According to Virginia Lottery, the winning ticket for $1 million was purchased at Wegmans -- located at 2281 Carl D. Silver Parkway in Fredericksburg. The winning numbers from Monday night's drawing were 4-6-16-36-66, with the Powerball number being 9. The winning ticket had the first five numbers, only missing the Powerball number. Virginia Lottery said this ticket was the only one in the country to match all of the first five numbers. There was no ticket that matched all six numbers, which would have won the estimated $295 million jackpot. Whoever has the winning ticket has 180 days from Monday, Jan. 13, to claim the prize. Virginia Lottery also advises that the winner immediately signs the back of the winning ticket to establish ownership. Once the winner is ready, contact Virginia Lottery to claim the million-dollar prize. Stores that sell a $1 million winning ticket are provided a $10,000 bonus check from the Virginia Lottery.
