Woman shot in home in Richmond’s East End, police investigating
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Police Department is investigating after it said a woman was found shot in a home in the city's East End early Friday morning. According to police, officers responded to a home in the 2200 block of Williamsburg Road at 3:33 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, for a report of a shooting. When they got there, they found a woman inside with an apparent gunshot wound. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
