$1 million ticket, $50,000 Powerball ticket need claimers before deadlines
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Do you have the winning ticket? There are two big Virginia Lottery prizes, one of which is a $1 million winner that will soon expire if it is not claimed.
The Virginia Lottery announced there are two big prize-winning tickets purchased in North Chesterfield and Fishersville, which include a $1 million prize that could become worthless if no one claims them.
The $1 million ticket won in Virginia's New Year's Millionaire Raffle was drawn on Jan. 1, and is set to expire by 5 p.m. on June 30. This ticket was purchased in Fishersville at the Food Lion, located at 30 Windward Drive, and was one of five winners in the annual drawing.
The other unclaimed ticket was a $50,000 Powerball ticket that was drawn on Dec. 28, 2024, and is set to expire by 5 p.m. on June 26. According to the Virginia Lottery, the ticket was bought in Chesterfield at the 7-Eleven, located at 9113 Route 1.
