16-year-old boy stabbed multiple times in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 16-year-old boy is in the hospital Monday night after police say he was stabbed multiple times in Chesterfield County. Just before 4:45 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, officers with the Chesterfield County Police Department were called to the 2700 block of Martingale Road for report of a stabbing. When they arrived, officers found an unidentified 16-year-old boy with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. According to police, a suspect was taken into custody. No additional details on that suspect were provided.
