18-year-old identified as man killed in Henrico shooting

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- An 18-year-old man has been identified as the man killed in a shooting in Henrico County on Sunday night.

On Sunday, Feb. 15, at around 7:30 p.m., Henrico Police responded to the intersection of Maple Run Lane and Oak Run Lane for a report of a firearm violation.

Once on the scene, officers found two men with apparent gunshot wounds.

Eighteen-year-old William Andrew Scott, Jr., of Henrico County, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other man was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.

Detectives have followed up on several leads for this case.
