29-year-old man wanted in connection to Henrico shooting that killed in 38-year-old Richmond man

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico Police are searching for a 29-year-old man who is wanted in connection with a shooting that killed a 38-year-old Richmond man in January.

On Wednesday, Feb. 4, the Henrico County Police Division announced that detectives identified 29-year-old Kemonde Travis Daily, of Henrico County, as the suspect in a deadly shooting that occurred along Oakland Road on Jan. 8.

Police described Daily as being a Black man who stands at about 6 feet and 2 inches tall, with brown eyes and black hair.

Officials said Daily is considered armed and dangerous.

Police released the following photo of the suspect in an attempt to assist the public in finding him.

This comes after Henrico Police officers responded to the 1400 block of Oakland Road at around 4:50 a.m. on Jan. 8 for a reported suspicious situation.

When officers arrived, they found 38-year-old Darryl Timothy Hines lying in the road with apparent gunshot wounds. Police said he was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
