29-year-old Richmond man killed in shooting on Clay Street

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A 29-year-old Richmond man was killed in a shooting on Clay Street Wednesday night.
According to the Richmond Police Department, officers were called to the 800 block of Clay Street at 11:13 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22, for a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found a man, identified by detectives as 29-year-old Sidiki Fofana, on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound.
Fofana was taken to a local hospital, where he died due to his injuries.
