3 drivers hospitalized after multi-vehicle crash in Amelia

AMELIA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Three drivers were taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Amelia County on Monday.

At about 2:10 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 19, state troopers with Virginia State Police were called to the area of Genito and Howard roads for report of a three-vehicle crash.

Details on exactly how the crash happened are not available at the time of reporting.

However, state police did confirm that all three involved drivers were taken to an area hospital -- two by ambulance and one via MedFlight helicopter. All of them had non-life-threatening injuries.

State police told 8News that more information on this incident would be provided when possible.
