1. Vandal Doughnuts
2306 Gottingen St, Halifax
1341 Lower Water Street, Halifax
It’s not uncommon to see a line of people waiting outside this beloved North End doughnut shop before they’ve even opened their doors. The menu is extensive and the doughnuts are delicious. Their newest location is in the Cunard District on the Halifax waterfront. The moment you open their bright pink box, you’ll be torn between the desire to capture the beautifully created pastries for your Instagram feed, and the much stronger urge to devour the dozen (because you NEED to get a dozen).

2. Dilly Dally Coffee Cafe
6100 Quinpool Rd, Halifax | West End Halifax
Have you really lived if you haven’t tried a sugar doughnut from Dilly Dally? We’re inclined to think not.
The Tiny Kitchen at Dilly Dally is run by a team of talented NSCC & Holland College alumni who, in addition to delicious (and often seasonally-inspired) doughnuts, create a daily selection of house-made pastries, breakfasts, slow-cooked soups, bowls, and sandwiches.
3. Ol’ School Donuts
Find them using the Street Food App!
Get your doughnut fix from the tricked-out Ol’ School Donuts school bus! Expect fresh, delicious cake doughnuts, just like granny used to make.
