PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- A 31-year-old man has been charged with abduction, strangulation and aggravated domestic assault following the report of a disturbance at a home in Petersburg.
At 11:07 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 10, officers with the Petersburg Bureau of Police responded to the 400 block of Hinton Street for the report of a disturbance.
When officers arrived at the scene, they heard someone yelling for help from inside the home.
According to police, 31-year-old Ruben Agundez was taken into custody and charged with abduction, strangulation and aggravated domestic assault.
