39-year-old woman killed in Henrico County crash

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The woman who was killed in a crash in Henrico County early Saturday morning has been identified by police. Police have identified the woman as 39-year-old Raquita Jackson of the Highland Springs area of the county. At 1:48 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, officers with the Henrico County Police Division responded to the 2100 block of East Nine Mile Road for a reported vehicle crash in a parking lot. When officers arrived, they found a vehicle that had crashed and was on its side. Officers found Jackson, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the preliminary investigation indicates that Jackson veered off the road in the 2100 block of East Nine Mile Road, hitting a parked vehicle. The impact reportedly caused the vehicle to roll and come to rest on its side, partially ejecting Jackson from the vehicle, according to police.
