PHOTOS: Excitement builds at Richmond Raceway ahead of NASCAR Cook Out 400

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — It's time to go racing under the lights! NASCAR weekend is back at Richmond Raceway.
After yesterday's qualifying, Ryan Preece leads the field on pole position, followed by Tyler Reddick and A.J. Allmendinger in second and third.
Local driver Denny Hamlin -- the most successful driver at Richmond Raceway in the 21st Century -- will start the race from fourth place. He will be looking to re-establish his place as the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series wins leader after Shane Van Gisbergen tied his lead with last weekend's win at Watkins Glen.
