44-year-old man dies following shooting in Richmond’s Old Town Manchester area

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The man who was shot in the back near Richmond's Old Town Manchester area on Thursday has died, police said.
In the morning on Sept. 5, police identified the man who was shot and has since died as 44-year-old Terrell Robinson, of Richmond.
At around 7:12 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 00 block of East 10th Street for the report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found Robinson lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his back. He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he was later pronounced dead.

This followed a shooting a few blocks away, just weeks earlier, at the 00th block of East 11th Street, that police said left two men and one woman injured.
Police said the shootings are not believed to be connected.
