Charlottesville’s Pro Camera to move to Richmond’s Fan District

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A Charlottesville staple will soon call Richmond's Fan District home.

More than forty years since Pro Camera first opened its doors, the film developing and print lab is marking the start of a new chapter with the move to Richmond this summer, the store announced on social media.

"To our Charlottesville community, we thank you," the announcement reads. "Your trust, support, and love for this shop helped shape Pro Camera into what it is today."

The business is bringing its wide range of services and products from the Historic District in downtown Charlottesville to the Fan District this June, including camera repair, in-house lab services and cameras and gear.

Final drop-off and pickup dates for the Charlottesville location will be announced soon. The new Pro Camera location will be at 511 N. Meadow St. in Richmond.
